Check these points
Separate the charges
A monthly membership is a repeating fee for using a service. Online weight-care offers checked September 26, 2026 often charged this fee separately from the medicine price.
Ask what the membership pays for: visits, answers to later questions or other help. Ask about medicine, tests, supplies and shipping, and which charges repeat.
Ask what happens after an offer ends
Semaglutide is the ingredient in Ozempic. A government price page checked September 26, 2026 lists the first two monthly supplies of Ozempic injection pens at $199 each.
That starting price is for new patients paying outside insurance, at the starting amounts of 0.25 or 0.5 mg. It covers one monthly supply at a time.
The same offer lists later monthly prices of $349 at 0.25, 0.5 or 1 mg and $499 at 2 mg, as of September 26, 2026.
“mg” stands for milligrams, a unit that measures how much medicine is present. These are price conditions for a prescribed dose, not instructions for choosing a dose.
Those figures describe a medicine offer, not a complete care bill or a Boston clinic price.
Get the cancellation terms
Ask when charges start, how to cancel and whether payment commits you to a longer period.
Ask what you owe if the visit does not lead to a prescription.
Notes that explain the checks
Prices have different meanings
A drug’s list price, cash offer and insured payment can be different amounts for the same product, as of September 26, 2026.
List price means the maker’s published price. An insured payment is the share your plan leaves for you.
Date the quote
The starting-price offer for semaglutide pens above has terms ending December 31, 2026, as checked September 26, 2026.
Ask for the price of the exact prescribed product. A “from” price does not tell you the cost of your whole plan.
